Has anyone got a magic eye / tv-link working on a free sat receiver?

Yes its possible to use a tv-link and magic eye on a freesat receiver however because the unit has no rf out you will need either a Vcr or RF modulator to help feed it around the house or to another room etc.

The RF modulator is only half the issue. The SKY box will accept the "magic eye" IR commands on the back channel and allow them to control the box. Most other receivers don't support this. You will need a full IR repeater (google this) for most non-SKY boxes.
