I know your probably looking for a central bar but i know DCU rugby club is showing all the matches in their bar on campus. Its a good spot for watching games and their shud b a good buzz about the place! And you will prob get a good seat/standing place! Ive always hated synotts to cramped/sweaty and some areas in the bar u cant see the screens v. well

Birchalls in Ranelagh is a very good rugby pub with great eclectic atmosphere on match days

    Sinnotts is a good shout

The Woolshed on Parnell st is a great sports bar too. Loads and Loads of good screens and normally a good atmosphere for big sport games

The Woolshed on Parnell Street is an excellent spot for Rugby games

2 Massive screens .But get there early cause it gets packed
also not the greatest A/C so can be a little on the hot side

but hay Pitchers for 15-20 euro . you can't go wrong

more pubs should have screens like the outback! it wouldn't be my first choice, but i have to say, i've never been anywhere in the bar i couldn't see a screen

Heard great things about the Woolshed, but im voting Sinnots, mainly because i prefer the location. No buses near me go up to parnell st.

If people are going to sinnots, how early are you guys going??? Im thinking about going for the french match, 1.15pm. But i dont wanna be too drunk for the irish or bernard dunne fight (if ireland win grand slam, i don't think i'll remember much of the dunne fight!!)

How much is a pint in Sinnots???

Sinnotts is always a safe bet, but you need to get in early! Might head into town with a sleeping bag and a tent tomorrow night....:D

Probably head in for about 1-ish and hope for the best! With any luck it'll be all rugby and none of that ponchy soccer nonsense!!! :p

It is an awful pity that nobody has got their head together and erected a giant screen in some public place like Stephens green or Merrion Square or something. It would have been great to watch the game with a massive crowd of all ages, enjoying the good weather also!

Yep it would have been fantastic. I think I heard somewhere that it was contemplated but the idea rejected for some reason! Its an awful shame especially considering how good the weather is at the moment!!

Agree. They managed it in Limerick twice for the H-Cup and was a huge success by all accounts. Pity Dublin couldn't do the same.

Was planning to hit Sinnotts for the England V Scotland, but worried now that it might be too late by then. What do people reckon? Sounds like there will be a solid boards.ie contingent there.
