i didnt watch the final except a youtube link and i watched some of the previous weeks but when i said i didnt like the dancing kid jack people are shocked!!its great a kid has an interest but imo i think he has been made too cocky and confident.id love to know how much school he missed in the last few weeks with appearances ie ragweek, learning new routines etc its nearly like child abuse.seems alot of pressure put on a young lad.and 50,000 euro should not be given to kids under 18 for a prize.make a talent show for kids but make it a show about taking part.no big prizes, txt campaigns.god forbid that young kids parents got the 50grand.sorry very moody this morning!!

I got the same reaction when I said I couldn't listen to a wee kid who was on this show a few weeks ago as I found her voice very grating and I had to change channel until she was finished. It's only because she was "cute" this was acceptable.

Every single argument you've put forward is absolutely ridiculous. The fact that you're questioning whether the child missed schooling by using awful spelling, grammar and punctuation and no capitalisation only helps to compound the fact that you're as mad as a brush. Then again, I suppose it is After Hours: the showcase for how much Ireland's education has slipped over the last 20 years.

Don't bother. Just leave the child alone.

I didn't think he was great, but fareplay to him anyway for doing it!

I sometimes think it's hard for really young kids to be told that they are not good enough. He was very young and he came 2nd place! He spent a whole two minutes when there was only 2 finalists left hoping that he would win, and then didn't
