USB enclosure for 2.5 inch ultra-ATA hard drive

Hello,
what kind of usb device do i need to connect to a 2.5 inch ultra-ATA hard drive(Laptop) to.
I bought an IDE enclosure over the internet but it was a different type connection.
Will a SATA enclouse do instead or can you get an ultra =-ADA enclosure?

My sisters laptop had an ultra ata connection but the harddrive used was just an ordinary ide with an ide to ultra ata connector. I dont know how that helps you is it possible your hdd has a small pull off conector on the back or maybe the reversve of this is possible.

If this is a one off data transfer, you could use an ide 3.5 to 2.5 inch connector, to use with the ide you got.

A SATA enclosure would not do. You'd need to get a SATA to 2.5 inch ide converter.
