Just getting into bands like Earth , Khanate and Sunn 0)). I guess they are considered drone/doom metal. Anyone into this music? I find it alot more interesting than what's being done in traditional metal at the moment.

i listen to a lot of the above mentioned and also doom such as Moss or anything that is on offshoot of Sunn. O'Malley and Anderson work on a host of other bands.

My favourite Sunn album would be Black 1 with its Black Metal style and guest vocalists.
The Earth album from last year "The bees..." was one of my favourites of last year.
Last year Anderson released a brilliant album with Gentry Densley under the name Ascend.
