Hi all my first post on this form, i am just wondering about the above tv was in town today and the tv was for sale at 999 euro. Is this good value and if not what value did you see it at and where.

i work in alliance electric and we have it for €869. the irish model number is TX-37LZ85

You could try Richersounds in Belfast - they have a forum here and deliver for Boardies at very reduced rates. See here:

They do a 37" Panasonic for £649, about €710 depending on prevailing exchange rate, not sure if it's the same or a better model than the one you referred to. Well worth asking....

i like panasonic, the LZ85 is a great set.. its one of the best LCDs out there at the moment. they do the plasma as well in that size. its HD ready as opposed to full HD on LZ85 but whether or not you'd notice that on a 37" is another story!
