Recently I forgot my Hi-capa 4.3 down at a friend's house (Bad idea I know) I got it back yesterday, after 3 weeks, and the grip safety was outside the grip, and now I don't know how to put the gun back together so that the gun will fire! I have taken apart the gun, left the slide alone, but took the grip and firing mechanism down, and now after I put it back together, the hammer won't stay in the cocked position, and the safeties either side of the slide won't go up even when the hammer's held in the cocked position! Please help! :(

    leaf springs in wrong.

It should push down on all parts in the trigger mech, re-do this bit, its a common mistake, and the source of your issue.

Thanks for the (really) quick reply, you would't be able to get a picture showing what it's meant to look like, would you?

Nope, cuz I don't have one.

All the prongs should be pressing forward on the parts, none pushing backwards, and ensure the parts are all under the prongs.

There is a notch the butt of the spring sits into, so ye can't fcuk it up.
