Wedding on Italian Lakes

    Hey all,

We're narrowing down our choice of wedding location to in and around Florence, or the Italian Lakes! We're really looking forward to a visit next June ....

For anyone who has attended a wedding on the lakes, could you please share the venue and wedding location? PLEASE! We're aiming towards the smaller lakes, Orta, Maggiore, Como, rather than the bigger Lake Garda. I think it might be more intimate.

Also, if you could recommend a planner, and give me an idea of price it'd be great. We're in touch with ItalianLakesWedding.com, and although they're very helpful, their fee is around 1800! Is that normal?!

Any help would be gratefully received! :)

    Thanks!!

Go for lake como its the nicest, and bellagio or varena are the nicest towns, id go for bellagio its spectacular. there are some incredible hotels there too, but cheaper ones also.
