Irish address problems buying on Amazon.uk

The American company I was trying to buy a cd from this morning advertised themselves as 'We send to anywhere in the world' so I completed the order and still eneded up with the address error message.

Theres no problem with my address - it's worked for other cd orders through amazon uk no problem.

I've emailed the company through amazon but won't be suprised if I don't hear back from them.

Any similar experiences ? Things I should look out for in the future to avoid disappointment?

Sorry if this is a common question - i did do a search but couldnt see any similar thread.

I've never heard of address problems with Amazon's forms. Is it something to do with your post code or lack thereof? If the company doesn't get back to you...might as well take your business elsewhere.

Could be postcode like JJ said I've had trouble with that before I normally put the county name in post code field

I dont think its my postcode because I'm using the default address I got cd's delivered to through amazon before.

The company didnt get back to me so I guess it's just a case of when this company say that they deliver to anywhere in the world - they actually don't.

    thanks anyway
