    Hi All,
Looking at getting a house soon and just wanted to ask is it ok to get approval for a mortgage from multiple source like say AIB and BOI.

Is there anything wrong with doing this just to see the different loan amounts and offers etc?

Nothing at all wrong with it, and I would consider it vital. Most brokers tend to do this, taking a scattergun approach and then seeing who spits back the best offers. Play them off against each other if you can.

thanks Seamus, I was a little worried about the legality of it but the more I think of it the more it makes sense. Thanks again.
