    Howdy all,
i've recently been made redundant and am looking for a wee bit of advice....
the company i worked for has entered voluntary liquidation, due to be completed by march 23rd. i havent got a P45 yet. Can i expect this after the 23rd and will i get it from the liquidators? I've asked the financial controller of my (former) employers and can't get a straight answer.

@ mods, sorry if this is in the wrong forum, pls feel free to move

thanks in advance for any help
    Al

If the company has gone into a voluntary liquidation there is a six weeks notice period for redundancy which may be the reason for the delay but it should get sorted out. If you find another job the tax office can put you on a Week 1/Month 1 basis while waiting for your P45.

If its not a Voluntary Liquidation you may have problems getting a P45. The tax office may be able to help you in this circumstance.
