Best cast?

Seeing The Departed on Ch4 has reminded me of how it has a shít hot cast.

DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Martin Sheen, Jack Nickleson, Mark Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin, Ray Winston.

So, what other movies would have the best casts?

Personally, some that come to mind would be pretty much any Tarantino movie, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction etc. Also Boogie Nights has a great cast.

Oh, and a notable mention to The Expendables:)

Speaking of the Departed, appearantly yer man who played Fr. Todd Unctious in Father Ted (Also played Gilligan in Veronica Guerin) was supposed to play the Martin Sheen part in the Departed but had to drop out. Would've been interesting.

Synecdoche, New York has the most talented cast I have possibly ever seen in a film: P.S. Hoffman is great of course, but it is his female supporting cast that really impresses. Catherine Keener, Michelle Williams, Emily Watson, Samantha Morton, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Hope Davis and Dianne Weist - contains a large amount of the best contemporary Hollywood actresses.

It was on one of the movie channels the other night. Hadn't watched it in ages. I started laughing at one scene. Think it was Elias Koteas on the radio to Nick Nolte and there in the background, saying noting, just part of the background was John Cusack.
