Recently got in crowns on my 2 front teeth and was told that they wouldnt stain but i went out on the beer the other night and had some ciggies, as you do when you're drunk :D, the next morning i noticed one of the crowns darkened, i mean its still the same colour up against light but from a distance it looks more translucent (if i explained it right) compared to the adjacent crown. Is the problem the "glaze" in the teeth or is it just stained or both, or what? Can i get the original colour restored by a simple polish? any comments appreciated!

p.s. is it normal for crowns to fail like this and can i get it replaced under warranty?
