    Hello,

I don't know if this is a rumour or fact or something in between. I think I read somewhere that if you buy an iPhone from O2, after you've had it a year or something, you can request O2 to unlock it and they will do so.

As I say I think I read this somewhere but I'm not sure. If it's true, I don't know if they charge you and/or if it's only for pay monthly phones.

    Anyone know?

    Nope, not true.

Also, iPhone contracts with O2 are 18 month, not a year.

Yep, aware of the 18 month contracts, but was wondering about pay as you go.

    Thanks for the info!
