I'm buying the VAIO FW31 & it looks like I'll about save €200 if I buy it north of the border. I'm just wondering are there any issues with warrenty or anything else like that? i.e. I'm hoping that once I get it I can just register it with Club VAIO as being from the republic and therefore be entitled to after market…

You shouldn't have any problem as its in the E.U & i'm 99% sure all warranties have to cover all of the E.U if sold in a European country.
