    I'm buying the VAIO FW31 & it looks like I'll about save €200 if I buy it north of the border. I'm just wondering are there any issues with warrenty or anything else like that? i.e. I'm hoping that once I get it I can just register it with Club VAIO as being from the republic and therefore be entitled to after market support etc.

    You shouldn't have any problem as its in the E.U & i'm 99% sure all warranties have to cover all of the E.U if sold in a European country.
