    Hi,
About 7 weeks ago I had to get four fillings.
Two on my left, two on my right. I got the teeth or white coloured fillings. I had some pain with the fillings on the right. First time I went back, he suggested that it may be because the filling was too high so he trimmed it.

A week later I still had pain from the right but was on holiday. I couldn't bite on the right hand side of my mouth so I had to use the left.

Went back. A different dentist at the practise took them out, and put in metal ones. He suggested that the teeth coloured fillings may not have been good for me as they are not as strong and were probably rubbing up against a nerve, hence the pain. He suggested metal ones instead.

Now, seven weeks later one of the fillings is hurting me on the left hand side of my mouth. Similar type of pain.

When I bite, it's like someone pinching on the nerve and I have to chew this time on the right hand side of my mouth.

It will mean I have to go Dentist again. I'm starting to get a bit worried and annoyed by all this. This will mean it's the third time going back for the same set of fillings.

    Any advice?
    Are complications like this normal?

    Comments welcomed.
