    Guys

I've been driving 50cc's for commuting 9 or 10 years now. I want to move up as I feel like donkey kong on the thing!! and I want a bit more kick and I'm looking at getting a 250. Honda Hornets or CBRs are catching my eye.

    Would people recommend these bikes?

Also what's the situation with the licence, I have a full B but there is no marking in the box for category A, I have a feeling I might not be able to drive a 250 legally with this licence???

    Thanks for any help.

You wont go wrong with a hornet, class little bike! Not too sure about the licence situation though. As far as I know, you're grand to ride a 250 on a prov A lisc. B lisc doesnt allow you to ride any bikes at all AFAIK

You need an A licence for a motorbike B only covers 50cc <45kph(assuming you got your B before they changed to a separate M category)

Honda Hornet250 and CBR250 are both great bikes for starting off but both are just slightly over the 33bhp limit and they go for mad money.
Its harder to find a good cbr250 these days too. You can pick up a good value newer restricted 600 hornet, bandit, fazer or sv etc for similar money to the 250 hornet or cbr and your 10 year ncd should help with the insurance!

both them bikes are very good.would go for the hornet meself outta them two. Restricted 600 be a better option though in my opinion. Ya can do the test on one . Then instead of buying a bigger bike just take out the restriction.
