Not sure is this the right forum for this but I'm sure someone in here can answer my question.

I recently bought a new 1Tb hard-drive as part of a serious upgrade, thought it would be best to shove all my programs and general files over and keep my old 25Gb one just as a boot with windows and nothing else.

there are alot of programs that have to be on C: (the 25Gb HD) and that's fine, but when google (earth, chrome and desktop) install fully to C: I thought there must be a way to move them off the boot drive. I couldn't find anyway of moving them, the re-install doesn't give a choice. I thought this can't be right.

so can anyone in here help me

Reinstalling them is the best way. It could be possible to move some of them, but it'd be a bit hacky.

I wouldn't bother keeping the 25GB drive at all. Anything that small must be ancient and probably a lot slower than the new drive.
