This is one for the boffins :)
Have Sky+ Living Room also have RTE direct feed from External Aerial
Multi Room upstairs in the Playroom

Sky+ signal and the rte(s) are bumped to T.v in Kitchen and Bedroom (same sky channel as on the main box) via the attic.
Just over the past few days the tv in the living room went all snowy on the sky picture and the only way we can correct it is by disconnecting the rte aerial feed>>>??? this system as worked perfectly for 3/4 years. does anyone know how we can fix this? (btw the incoming signal from sky is perfect just interference causing the problem)
    Thanks in Advance :)

A new digital multiplex is on top of the RF outlet channel that you chose for Sky. You'll have to press [services] 401 [select] 4 and set the RF channel to a different number (one that's free from interference) and tune your TVs to that.

Out of interest, please post your location, the number of the RF channel currently set, and the number that you end up with. That will help others in your area. Thanks.

Hello Sam thanks for the info, When I get into the Installation Menu RF Channel is currently 21, I change it to 25 or any other number and press arrow down to "save" settings and the box cuts off when I hit back up it is still at 21 it will not let me change it no matter what I try.

    Location is East Limerick,

    when you type in '25'
press the UP arrow , then select.

You will then need to retune your TV

The Sky box changes the output freq, and soon as you type it in

I wouldnt change it to 25 either, i think thats a DTT frequency? You will need to check what your analouge channels are on 1st before re adjusting your RF output. Set the sky box rf as far away from any uhf analouge channel. There should be a list somewhere of the channels transmitting from your local transmitter

You need SCART connected while you do this. If you use RF you lose picture when you change it, but before it's saved.

The Sky modulator (as do all) uses up nearly 2 channels. The next lower channel will be interfered with. It creates noise on higher channels. So a higher channel number is best, but has to be at least any existing TV Channel +2, never +1
