I see that we have fallen into the trap of letting these google people film the streets.

Now, nobody has asked me if I would like pictures of my house on the world wide internet. Also included will be any cars and so on outside the house.

This is a disgusting assault on my privacy.

I saw a Landrover in Mallow a few days ago with this odd camera mounted on the roof with all these metal bars like a tripod on the outside of the landrover.

I thought it was odd but figured it had something to do with Google earth. I have put it to my memory of where I was and will check in the coming years that location to see if it really is the picture and then I will ask Google to remove it. :D

Just you keep updating bebo with your gory details.

I personally wouldn't call that invasion of privacy, I think its a cool idea

The cars they use look like -

So when you see that car in your area, be sure to put up a sign outside like "I hate Naggers" or something and it will be immortalized on the web

    Oh it's cool??????????????

That makes it alright with Krieg.

Ever though about the consequences. Anyone, anywhere in the world can type in you address and see a picture of your house and any cars etc on the street.

If that does not bother you, you need to rethink your life.

Why dont you put a big black sheet over your house in case anyone sees it? Better not drive your car in public either, anyoen can see you in it and invade your privacy .

Dont come out from behind the sheet too if thats possible.Thanks.

Just redecorate the front of your house and change your car after the photo's been taken.

Why does that bother you? I don't understand. I couldn't care less. Anyone can walk down your street and do the same thing, so what if someone in another country can see it?

I thought they fought against oppression and fascism all wrapped in a nice big ball of Nazi. I don't see how a picture of my house on the web equates.

When they thaw Hitler out it'll be easier for him to find your house.

Do you always do as you are told? Are you one of these new Ireland types. A little computer geek, someone who loves technology?

How about people in your work looking to see what sort of a kip you live in. Bank managers, social workers, possible employers.

Would you stand outside if you knew the camera was coming? Would you smile and pull a funny pose? Would that impress your "mates". Are you outgoing, the life and soul of the party?

why do you care? all of the city will be done, not just your house.

if i walk down the street i can see your cars, it's not like they're filming inside your home.. stop moaning about nothing.

Did you not read the bit about being able to have your house removed on request? So now it's not invading your privacy!

If I knew when it's happening outside my house I'd be sure to stand stark naked in the front window! be a bit of a laugh.

No it doesnt bother me in the slightest. My house is in public in the first place, it's not hard to find.

So what your saying above is that theres no threat to aythign at all really? your afraid people you know will find out where you live? Oh the horror.

Would a possible employer not already have your address? I dont see how being able to look at the front of your house is going to help him.

Are you just afraid you'll be caught mid **** with the curtains open when google come down your road?
