.mod to .mov converters for OSX?

    Hey guys, found lots of .mod to .mov converters out there, though they all cost abou 30 euro or more. For how little I would use this converter the cost is just not worth it for me. I have heard about http://www.squared5.com/ but you need plugins for quicktime which cost money... Does anyone knwo of anything for mac? Something built int I just don't know about maybe?
