3 Huawei E220

    Hi i have a 3 Huawei E220 and when the 3 application opens it changes the resolution to 16 bit and screen to 640 x 480 ( it does connect). I have updated bios, vga drivers etc.. etc. There dosent seem to be an update on the 3 website. would anyone have any ideas cause im all out. Thanks

    Is there any chance that its something simple like compatibility settings selected? to check right click on the program and look at the compatibility tab.

    it should switch back when you close/minimize the 3 application?

    Try turning of the "UAC"

    The bold text is where your problems lie, you could probably try a firmware upgrade of the modem to hauwei generic software (take note of all current connection settings and this may invalidate your warranty on the device if it's a new contract). But i don't know if that would resolve your issue.

    It does switch back as soon as I close the application but i cant browse the net with the resolution when application is running

    dont use the three application then just use network and sharing centre to connect. and you can still check usage by logging on to the three site and using MyThree section.

    In case anyone else has same problem I fixed it by creating a new user and deleting old one;)
