where do you buy/sell your cars,
I don't see a section in the autotrader, and was wondering what magazines are out there that specifically for buying/sellign classic cars.

I'm selling my MK2 Jag, but only tried the web so far, I think although markets are quiet, that there are still a lot of people that buy/sell from hardcopy papers/magazines, and don't bother with the web.

I know a few UK publications with classifield sections, but is there an Irish counterpart

It really depends on which model MK2, its condition and it's history.
I.e. if it's truly excellent, 3.8, with spokes and a good colour with excellent history it would be worth advertising in the U.K. classic car mags.

    *bump

Rather than open a new thread, thought I'd ask for new suggestions here.

I'm trying to sell my classic car for six months and there's been very little interest in it. I have it on a few classic car websites here and in the UK. Any other (preferably free) places I should be advertising it?

That said, I realise the market's dead. I think I have it at a fair price but would probably drop it a couple of grand without too much prodding...

The Irish Classic and Vintage Car show is on in Terenure College this Sunday, why not get there early, get a good spot in the car park and wait....

Ta, but I work Sundays. I've heard the classic shows are a good place to sell your car but I can never get to them.

I'd rather not say what type of car it is. I'd like to maintain some illusion of anonymity, if only because I'm posting this from work….
