Thats a great find L.O.F.T. - could watch that swing all day. Prob the best golf swing of all time.
Ive always liked Byron Nelsons swing. Look:

love watchin the golden boys play. look at hogans feet very forward left and back right. he used to suffer with hooks and this was one way of stopping this. my dad is 67 and does the same thing. Never seen a straighter driver of the ball

If you look carefully i think Tiger's golf swing is now very like Ben Hogan's.

I have to say i think Tiger is swinging the club very flat at the moment.

Thanks for the fine link LOFT.

    Really is a fine video.

Contrary to gerp, what strikes me is that, despite Hogan's solved/manufactured/perfect/ModernFundamentals swing, it has not had the template effect that we might have expected. I was thinking there really is no swing around like it. Nor indeed over the past 50 years in general. Why not? Much of the world went 'upright' and backbendingly athletic following Nicklaus, Player, Miller, Watson, Ballesteros etc. But given the esteem, success, and 'mechanical machine' ideal that Hogan's swing is holds, is it not odd that we havent seen at least a few copies (even if not by major winners) of it over the years?

Also, good comment in the Youtube comments - amazing how much of an old man Hogan looks when just walking about and teeing up balls, yet looks 20 when he is swinging.
