Special Advice for Passengers who Check-in On-line

Passengers who check in on-line should plan to arrive at the terminal building at least 60 minutes before their flight departure time.

Passengers are then advised to proceed directly to the passenger security screening area.

Many passengers who check-in on-line are presenting themselves at the security screening area with very little time to spare to get to their Boarding Gate. Passengers are reminded to factor in sufficient time in order to comply with essential security procedures and be aware that they may have to walk a further 10 minutes to their boarding gate.

Web check-in passengers are more likely to have cabin/hand luggage rather than checked in luggage and this in turn increases the amount of security checks at the security screening area.

So it is not nasty Ryanair who is holding people up, it is the those in the employ of the DAA, a body supposed to serve the public.

Nobody is holding anybody up. It's just dumb people turning up thinking it's like hopping on a bus once they've checked in online.
