Gnerally speaking it shows that you agree with someone. It's handy as there is no need to fill up a thread with needless amounts of +1, FTW, Yep, I agree etc etc.Puddleduck wrote: »No, it means they fancy you and want to give you the roide.

Most of the time it's someone that agrees with what you have said or thanking you for some great advice.
Sometimes it's someone being sarcastic and giving you a 'thanks' when they really mean 'Oh, sure, thanks for that very insightful contribution, loser!' Generally, these people will quote you later with some sort of (perhaps) witty riposte that attempts to undermine what you said. That's how you know they didn't really mean to thank you.

Getting thanks is simple .Example
Somebody starts thread about disliking red heads or some football team
You reply with how much you like red heads and that football team
Result ? = thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks ( all red head people who like that football team )
It's just some are like junkies and addicted to the thanks count .
