    Hi all

May be starting a new job in Maynooth and wanted to get an idea what the traffic is like on the M50 between these points in the morning. Job doesn't start till 10 fortunately...

    Regards

There are roadworks from Ballinteer to Firhouse on the M50 and from Liffey Valley to Leixlip on the N4, so it can be quite congested at any time of day.

N4 out of town can be ok during the peak. Going back into town in the PM can be bad around liffey valley

    I presume they're temporary though...

The N4 roadworks will be finished within the next couple of months.
Also, the OP will be going against the main flow of traffic heading to Maynooth.
The M50 works will be a bit of a pain from Ballinteer to Firhouse but after that, it's fine.
