4870 512MB price drop

    Just wondering if anyone knows when this will happen over here? I was going to buy a 4850, but waiting for this to happen seems like the obvious thing to do. The price seems the same on Komplett.

    Edit - this is the cheapest 4870 on Komplett at the moment:

    All the other 4870's are over 200.

    That's a reasonable/good price for the 4870.

    And i'm pretty sure that's a newish price for komplett to be charging for that card? So i doubt it will come down any time soon

    Pixmania have been selling that card around that price for a few months now, it's 149 on their site now.

    The reason I ask is I read a post in another thread in the graphics section mentioning the 4870 and the 48XX line in general will be cheaper soon to compete with some Nvidia releases.
