Hey i just got my sniper, but then considered i need back up, and wondered if the mp5 would be appropiate for the job?

If not, what would you recommend getting, and try keep it small...

    Thanks for the help, GermanConduct

If your talking about an Mp5k then yeah it would probably suit you very well as it has a nice rate of fire, high mag capacity and is realitivly small which makes it ideal for a sidearm, But Mp5s I think are a bit to big to have as sidearms.

Maybe an MP7 or the TM Skorpion would suit you.................i hear the Skorpion is a nice little performer and its very compact too.

but would a mp7 be a little too weak? i heard they are pretty weak and have no distance...

I have the Galaxy MP5 PDW and would recommend it. With the stock folded its very neat. The only thing I'd recommend is you get mid caps and don't use a high cap mag as the rattle will give you away if you want to play as a sniper :)

galdalf: i like mids, but i hate the fact that you have to reload with a speed-loader!

herlequin: i am looking for something moderately cheap, around 100, and the skorpion is 250

do you guys think i could pick up an mp5k /mp5k pdw for around 80 euro? i know i can get an mp5k for 95, and pdw for 110, but both brand new

If ye wanna play milsim you're gonna havta get some mid-caps, high-caps aint allowed.

The Galaxy pdw is a nice little performer, it's got great range for such a small gun.

how many mids would you recommend for milsim? and how many speed loaders?

The mag limit in general is ten mags (with a realistic load of 30 shots) and ye really only need 1 speed loader, unless ye got four hands:D

ok, so does sniper with 2 spare mags, and mp5k / pdw with 5 mid-caps sound good?

If you're not sure about what ammo load you're gonna take check out the Milsim Night thread...........there's a pdf of the rules which includes ammo limits.

Yeah sounds more than adequate, if you're a good sniper you shouldn't need to use the secondary :)

Funny thing using MP5s as secondary to a sniper rifle. You sure you're not also wanting a spare battery Disch . .. I mean GermanConduct?
