Does anybody know anything about the Traders Cup race in Dundalk on Sunday? Details are very sparse on irishcycling.com and when I tried emailing the race organiser, the email bounced. Does anyone know:

    - the distance?
    - what kind of course it is?
    - whether it's a handicap or if there are separate races for different categories, or is it a mass start?

    Thanks very much!

the course is the same as the Leinster Road Championships last year. the course extend from one round about to another. we race up and down the same stretch of road. very boring. the road sits on a drag, so first half of the circuit is slightly uphill, the other half is obviously slightly downhill.

i presume the S3 race will take place over 10 laps, the S2 race over 15 laps of a 6.5km circuit...?

no idea where the course is.

96k distance, flattish circuit with a couple of short bumps on it, handicapped.

I was afraid it might be that again: yes it is very boring and not my cup of tea becaue I hate roundabouts and end up off the back every time (20 times!). Might give that a miss so ...

I had planned on racing in this, but was infomed that it is pancake flat (not my cup of tea) and pretty boring. Might also give it a miss.
