I bought myself a vintage frame, 1920 gold wire thingy, and I want to have perscription lenses fitted.
Can anyone tell me if the high street outlets will grind lenses for frames that were not bought instore or will I have to go to a specilist?

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Yep most places should do it.
Very rarely when putting new lenses into a pair of old glasses, the frames can get damaged. By the sound of it your frames will be hard to replace! Make sure you ask the practice what the protocol is if they damage your specs - will you get compensation or is it at your own risk kinda thing.
