Judo & BJJ Clubs in Carlow?

    Are there any Judo & BJJ Clubs in Carlow?

    No Judo in Carlow. If you don't mind a short drive there is a Judo Club here in Kilkenny. Not sure on the BJJ front. Hopefully someone else will help you out there.

    Yeah I'm actually living in kilkenny but the Kilkenny Judo club will only allow begineers to train with them once a week on Tuesday nights. I'd prefer to be going at least twice a week to help pick up the basics quicker.

    Since my initial post I found out that a member of the Athy BJJ club holds classes in Carlow each Friday @ 7pm.

    The Friday classes at 7:30 are for Yellow an up so once you're a Yellow belt that's really not an issue.

    BJJ in Athy tue/wed 6.30pm (tue is rolling only), and sun 10am and friday in Carlow at 7pm. Im not really sure what john mac is refferring to with "yellow"?. Kids ranking system uses yellow and orange but other than that the ranks are white-blue-purple-brown-black

    I was referring to the rank in Judo. Once you're a Yellow belt you can attend Friday classes at Kilkenny Judo
