Official PSN Gamercards out. Now with trophies!

The official PSN gamercards have been updated and now include trophy information which automatically updates. The update brings more backgriounds and a lot more options for you to list your favourite recent Playstation game.

If you visit the portal at eu.playstation.com, you can view trophy information for everyone on your friend list. In your own profile, you can view detailed trophy information by clicking on an individual game and see which trophies you have and when you got them, just like on your PS3 (except it loads faster ).

So what do you think about them? I think they're pretty much perfect now.

went to the site eu.playstation.com, signed in and was asked did i want to transfer my old account information, if so, supply e-mail and password and click "sign in"... if not just click the submit buttom (with a warning that i will not get another chance to link to my old eu.playstation.com account again)... when I click to transfer the screen just freezes... I log out and back in again and Nothing... anyone else experience this?

I like it a lot, they're supposed to be updating the gamercard you see on your PS3 too at some stage I think. Hopefully it'll look a bit like these.

happened to me too.

it seems to work fine anyway. I went ahead and "created new" because I couldn't think what was in it as for all I knew I hadn't any info with them other than registering the ps online.

The only thing that appears to be broken is that my console is not "registered" on line, but it is when I go through the ps3.

Your trophies seem to have updated now, did you do something different from what you tried earlier? It may just be that the sigs get updated once a day, every 12 hours or something like that, or that you have to do a trophy sync on your PS3.

Well I went and made new one and put it in sig and it showed 196 in the PS place and showed 191 here then a while later it updated...I had synched before this!

IIRC the next PS3 firmware update is supposed to have a feature that sync's with gamercards.

Think you'll have to do it manually for the moment.

So what's the story with the updating of sigs? The offical and playfire ones? I manually updated my official one, yet my playfire one hasn't changed even though i updated it as well? Are we sure that it really isn't automated? That when i earn a trophy it won't make it's way onto my sig without my intervention?

Not yet. New firmware is rumoured to fix this.
