If you mean the ones going off to big it up in the USA etc. bear in mind that the whole idea is to showcase Ireland in order to entice investors

Known them, they probably think "look, they have organised a going away party for us, isn't that thoughtful of them"

I very much doubt many politicians give a tiny rat's ass about public protests.

They will continue to believe that Joe Z Public has a goldfish memory and come election time will glady vote the majority of them back into power.

We voted them into power ... we have the ultimate responsibility.

When the next election is called ... see how they run. The fear of losing votes/power may spur some action. All we need now is a credible alternative to vote for.

*goes off looking for credible alternative ... I may be some time*

It's more the paying tax to fund their lavish lifestyles that I worry about, now. F'ers. I do take your point, though. I resolve to be calm, as of tomorrow.

If a salesman came up to you in a banger, a tracksuit with hair all over the place would you buy anything of him?

We need our politicians to look their best to get jobs for Ireland. Their budget for paddys day trips won't break the country.

Key to success if we want a dirty protest - pick the part of Dublin that's a big building site. Plenty of ammo like last time :D

A pig in lipstick is still a pig. Its not as if US investors are going to look at Harney in her $6k haircut and think that in any way she looks presentable or better than she looked before the hairdo.

This trip was a massive waste of time and money last year, if they think this year is going to be any better they are seriously deluded.

Yeah I'm up for a protest. I think we should meet up in town on Paddy's Day. Anyone who is protesting against the Government should wear green.
