€9Million spent on a showroom

I heard today how a dealer spent €9,000,000 on a new showroom which opened last year I think. In Co Louth.

I was told that the owner required 167 car sales per week to cover all the set-up costs and on going costs.

First things first I was quite surprised at the cost but even more surprised at the level of weekly sales. Surely even in the boom times 167 cars a week would have been a healthy number for any garage?

xxxxxxxxxx, but he ain't selling anywhere near that amount of cars, I heard last week an administrative receiver was appointed.

9 million, ouch!

No Dealership could sell 167 cars per week, that's almost 9000 per year, or to put it another way, it's like a Dealership selling every car in a county, all on their own.
