Has anybody had to deal with the change in H1B applications. Last year the prevailing wage rates were above 50K and this year it is 72K, for mechanical engineers. This goes above what I am being offered despite being in the median for the local area. It is seems like it is biased towards metropolitan centers where wages are high apposed to more rural areas. Any body had experience on this?
