Trip computer in Focus playing up

    Its strange. The trip com works, the outside temp sensor works, but, here's the thing. I cant seem to select between any of them.

    If i want the trip com on, i have to wait till the fuel level goes below 5 degrees and then fill up. It then measures how far i've left perfectly. But, if the outside temp drops, then it stays on that screen.

    It seems to me like the button on the end of the indicator stalk is gone.

    Any ideas?

    There's a master reset, but I can't recall how to do it!

    if the button is gone you may not be able to do a master reset.
    I think you have to hold in the button and turn on the ignition to go to the reset mode.

    That was my thinking. If the button is gone, then it'l be left as is i think. Too much hassle for me at the minute to replace the stalk.
