    Does anyone else hate the American accents advertising stuff on this station.

    Don't get me wrong - nothing at all against America - have American friends etc but why does i102 insist on advertising their programmes and sponsors in American accents.

    "It's alway bright and shiny at Super Valu" has to be the worst. An exagerrated American accent - what's American about Super Valu? Why not do it in an Irish accent like all the DJ's and listeners?

    Would you not think it was weird if you were in LA and there was a lad with a thick Kerry accent advertising Walmart?

    Don't think I've heard that one. Is it an real American accent, or a Americanised Irish accent?

    Listen for more than 20 minutes and you'll hear it.

    It's on after the weather every time. I can't listen to it any more - it's drivin me soft.
