All ideas welcome. There's a band with an excellent back catalogue. Ready to work, with huge international possibilities. Everything is there except the recognition. Step one is to perform a concert at a prestige-laden Dublin venue and announce their brilliance to the world. To do it right will cost some dough ... but it will be an event of note. The concert will (mostly) be a reworking of their classic 1975 album, The Children of Lir.

Sorry if this seems harsh......but jeez......if they haven't made it by now.......:o

What sort of venue are you looking at? What sort of ticket sales can this band manage (or have achieved over the last 34 years)?

    What is their target audience?

What are their album sale like?

Are there any merchandising opportunities? What type of revenue has the band made in merchandise over the years?

To get any type of sponsor on board you will need to have all this info available for them to calculate how much it will cost to promote the gig and the venue costs as well.

Good luck with this OP, my dad has some Loudest Whisper in his vinel collection. I particularly like the William B track myself.
