There was a small leak that was reported to a security guard who didn't give a **** on Tuesday, and there were some guys working on it today who had gone outside for a few minutes when a two foot wide waterfall started.

And yes, that is Hugh Gibbons. The man, the legend.

They were fairly prompt with that email

They were indeed, I'm very impressed. Even a date when they'll be back, none of this "until further notice" nonsense.

I hope the newspaper articles on Carl's door survive. Some of them are great reading.

Unless the articles are at the very bottom of the door they should be fine..
Its only a few cm of water. :)

It should only be called a flood if it's up to the waist. >.>

Oh man, think of all the dirt/food thats ended up on the carpet - now add water. That lab is going to smell like ass for the next month or so i'd say.

He came back in, saying "I know, I know. They know upsatirs too. I really have to run to sort out my office."

Only when I went in there with him that I realised that everything is just in piles on the floor...

Yup. Especially since the actual floor in LG12 is actually about a metre below the wooden latts.

The water just kept spewing down below.

Monday? I don't think so. Remember when someone lit a bog roll on fire in the Hamilton jacks last February and the place was closed for practically the rest of the year.

Had a class in LG12 at 2pm today. The massive dehumidifier was annoying.
