I'm looking for a hilly 130km ride. So far I've got

    http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2628543
165km (Sally gap, Wicklow gap, Slieve Mann - think so anyways (can someone check??? - and then back over Sally gap and home)

    http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2628562
    110

    (Sally Gap and Wicklow Gap)

Need something in between - suggestions?

Could you use a course creator?

    http://cc2.bradculberson.com/flex/bin/CourseCreator.html

This one has got topo details and elevation data available.

Its only going to be variations on that. You would go... Enniskeerry--> Sally Gap --> Lugalla --> Laragh --> Lugalla -->Sally Gap --> Blessington etcetc but there's only a few routes.

    or

Sally Gap --> Blessington Way --> around the wicklow gap that way and home via sally gap.

You don't have much variation either way. If you need really hilly you'll probably just end up finding a tough tough route and do loops.

Cheers - afraid I'll have to make the 20km up in repeats!

Once you reach Blessington, you could head to Naas via Eadstown and then onto Saggart to via backroads

130km on the dot, starting and ending in Stepaside

Variations (if you wanted to make it tougher) would include going up to Johnny Foxes on the way, from Kilternan, left at the cross roads, over the Devil's Elbow, down into Powerscourt valley and up towards Old Long Hill but turning right half-way up to continue on the plotted route.

You could also throw in an ascent/descent of Kippure, that adds ~230m of quite steep climbing.

Do you have a preference for the type of climb? Steady 7-8% stuff or short sharp steep ones?
