Probably mega bucks, tempted though. Maybe I should stick to the JG :D

Its not actually in their range at the moment, they release the announcments of a lot of their stuff long before they actually go into full production. just like their proper version of the L96, M4 CRW, G36 etc.

I think its due to be released middle of this year though., :)

I had understood that the G&G kit would be more accurate to the RS versions; the JG version of the AUG A3 is a hodge-podge of after-market kits and existing parts. Keeps the cost down but not very true to the form of the RS equipment, as reliable as it is. Where are people getting their information from on future G&G releases? People have been posting about a G&G AUG A3 for nearly 4 years now, and recycling the same information over and over.

I'm happy with mine, but I could see a more accurate version being a very popular piece; if they release it and I had money to spare, I'd consider getting it.

Differences dont seem to be massive but I'd say the G&G one will be a sexy pice alright ;)

My thoughs exactly. How are they going to compete with the JG versions. The only way they could improve it is by adding a working bolt catch, metal cocking lever and possibly blow back with the cycling cocking lever. Too much to ask:D.

How? they've done all of that with the new M4A1 and 416.:)

ya never know, and most of their stuff is built using unique designs rather than copying TM for example. so there could be a real tough choice in the G36 market soon.,:)

My arse there will. G&G G36 would be my instant choice. A proper A3 would be fantastic too, but I'd rather they hurried the F2000 along.

But where's all this information coming from? Is it just recycling of a rumour stated as fact from 4 years ago, or is there a basis for it?

I don't know about the stock situation in the dangerously thinly veiled reference you made, but pretty much every other store who stock JG AUG's have had these in for quite some time. In fact, I can name at least four people off the top of my head who have owned and used them since about October.

Dude, I was one of the first people in the country to possess a JG AUG A3, and that was how long ago? Late last summer some time? From Eirsoft. Tuned up by Masada himself. And yes, the retailer you mentioned is a banned subject.

Anyway, the discussion is about the G&G AUG A3 (and the other forthcoming G&G models); I'd like to know where is this information coming from? No-one can actually confirm the sources. I call shenanigans on it unless I hear some credible evidence...

I get regular updates from G&G regarding forthcoming releases, and they've never mentioned an AUG of any designatlon. The G36c project was put on the backburner late last summer when Umarex purchased the rights to H&K replicas, and started siccing lawyers on people who didn't pay licensing fees.

It still hasn't been reactivated. I'm meeting their sales manager this weekend at the IWA show, so I'll ask about it then.

Well, that's what I was getting at. I'm sure there would have been more than hearsay if they were doing it and wanted people to be excited about it. I just think that they aren't.

If you for a JG A3 rew, pick up a promethius MS90 and a Gaurder hopup,.,
The range will be unbeatable and the spring will put the gun on about 325fps.,:)

They could benefit from a good shim job too and clean out the barrel before using it, other than that they are fantastic, cept of course, its an AUG....

    :D
