Power supply question

    Hi all,
I need to replace a switched mode power supply with these params:
    Input 100-240V, 0.4A
    Output +12V , 1.5A

I can't see a PSU in Maplin with these current outputs, the closest are 1.25A and 1.66A outputs.

Does anyone know if I can use these, or do I have to find an exact match?

If I can't use these, can anyone point me in the right direction to a bricks&mortar shop in Dublin which might have the exact match?

    Thanks

I'm no expert on DC adapters but as far as I know as long as you have the voltage right and the adapter provides more amps then the device needs then it will work.
The device will only take as much amps as it needs or operate..
