I sent them an email yesterday asking when the Irish jersey will be ready.

They said they're expecting them to be ready by the end of April.

Has anyone plans on buying the gear (I suppose it depends what it looks like)

Oh -- I'll buy it for sure. I need to support my fellow kiwis and I think its cool when I travel to have a little peice of Ireland to ensure people don't mistake me as snglish -- I 90% Kiwi but slowly moving to the green side.

The jerseys are no longer made in New Zealand. They're made in China now

Reminds me of a chant I heard some comedian saying that the Brits were taunting the Ozzies with after a rugby match... "We've got two dollars to the pound, we've got two dollars to the pound!"

Reminds of the guy that was in my rugby club named Mick. Everyone called him "Mick Dundee" even though he was from New Zealand.

Yes -- Its good enough for me. I have the white one and its light and good for the rain. It fairly windproof as well. Rolls up nice and small.

Sure he's not pretending and is really from Galway...

Speaking of Kiwis, anyone else like that documentary about NZ's 4th most famous parody folk duo, Flight of the Conchords? It's pretty good...
