Occasional accidents

Just looking for some advice. I have a 5 month old lab pup and he has been doing really well with regard to house training but on a couple of occasions he has wet without realising it. I'm pretty sure it's not an infection because the occasions it has happened on have been pretty far apart. Seems to be when he is asleep or relaxed. I'm just wondering if maybe it is normal and he's just not fully used to holding it or should I be visiting a vet with him

might be worth dropping into the vet. could be nothing at all bar like you say just an accident. Our newf recently started wetting when left alone and we thought it was related to his neutering or separation anxiety but after 2-3 weeks of it its stopped. he consumes lots of water so we have to make sure he goes out to go potty as much as possible. he occasionally does a little if very excited but thats very rare and i'm guessing its when he really needs to go already or something.

Our golden retriever had this a few times over the 4.5 years we've had her where shes wet the bed essentially, could just be dreaming or something, its not very pleasant but really has been super rare for us not to feel its a prob.

Your dogs still very very yound and may not have full control yet

Our pup will let a bit out when he gets excited. Vet said as hes young (7 months) he cant fully control over times when he excited, scared, etc. Should be nothing to worry about but check with the vet incase. Good luck with the pup:D
