England’s luck with referees is out, though, with a fourth South African in five games, this time Marius Jonker, lined up for the Scotland match on Saturday week after Joel Jutge’s withdrawal. They have already had Mark Lawrence, Jonathan Kaplan and Craig Joubert.

    Daily Express - Mar 10 2009

He was supposed to ref a Pro D2 match last week as well but ended up commenting it on regional tv instead because of withdrawing. Sud Ouest said he was slowly recovering from a big knee surgery underwent in november 2007.

Hope to see him back soon.

Yaah. He had to get horrific surgery on his knee to get his knee and lower leg realigned.
