It can be difficult finding a reliable guide. You could do worse than contact the Scottish Association for Country Sports who have several members who act as guides that side.

The shortest crossing is from Larne in Co. Antrim to Cairnryan in Scotland. Remember that you need a sponsor in NI if you plan to bring guns with you. This is purely for the pourpose of travelling through NI.

The application can be downloaded from the PSNI website.

    Hope this helps

PS you also need a permit from the Police in Scotland in the area where you intend shooting, again this is a formality. This is all on top you your Euro Permit! Who said it was easy?

Sorry for the late reply. But lost my password and using a different email address,so i had to start a new account.Yes it was a bit of a rip off.We had a good crack between ourselves but the shooting wasnt up to much.Guides turning up with no goose calls etc and quiet honestly some of it was laughable. But hey you pay your money and take your chances.I wouldnt go back.
