Social Welfare Card?

    Does anybody know if i can get a second Social Welfare card sent to me? You know the one where you have the blue Social Welfare symbol on the card and its got your PRSI no on it? i cant find my original one and will need it shortly.:confused:

    Just tell them in the social welfare office and they should send a new one out to you.

    Go into the office and they will give you a temporary yellow card and then the replacement proper one should appear within a week or so, well thats how long it took for mine to appear. You'll need some other ID with you though.

    Well i'm waiting a month and a half for my sw card.. the OH got hers within a week of asking. Seems like a lottery!
