I heard it involves killing of some sort.

Well that and isn't it set in like the 15th Century or 1500s or something?

I ahve heard virtually nothing about this. I sorta thought it would be a modern one... (from the ending of the last one)

Its set in Venice and involves a relative or ancestor of the original character.

Not doubting your word, but you got any sources?

this was the most repetitive game ive ever played... it would put me off a NO.2................

Rumored to be Venice bound, but no confirmation yet. Also rumored(earlier) to be set during the French Revolution. I guess there may be more details at E3...

Hopefully, this time round, you actually get to use the crossbow  My only major gripe with the first game!

I'm hoping to see it set in feudal Japan myself, there's some evidence of a possible Japanese connection at the end of the first if I remember correctly. Would also be cool if you got to do more with the present day character than just walk around. Maybe some gun play, he is a trained assasain after all

+ 1. The first one was "wow, this is so cool", until you get to the second mission and the third, etc - so damn repetitive... Combat was pretty repetitive too... The only thing the sequel needs is variety but I think I'm gonna wait until it hits the bargain bucket this time around...

This has been sitting on my shelf for over a year now. All the bad press it gets puts me off playing it. Must try and get around to it before the second one comes out :P

some actual gameplay would be nice !

i thought the first one summed up everything bad about modern games. all graphics and no gameplay.

first hour was great though. rapidly downhill after that

that would be cool!!you kinda forget that he is an assassin!all he does is sleep or lie down!surely he could have broken out of there lol

What i would hate is if they made no reference to the main dude in the modern setting escaping!!if he just randomly appears in some other country id cry ha

Really? Well then you can count me out for this game. I can't think of a single game that has done a swimming section successfully.

I've heard rumours that its set in multiple time periods.

    Only rumours tho

    Mario, zelda, MGS etc

    Don't mind the press,

It was disappointing in the end, but only because I expected so so much.

It was still excellent, if a little repetitive. The basics are amazing, but it's just missing that something extra.

It's definitely worth 1 play through.

Exactly, terrible. Have you played Super Mario Galaxy? Those swimming level almost made me quit the game.

Just because you dont like swimming sections of games?fair enough i suppose

But i highly doubt assassins creed 2 will in anyway revolve around swimming perhaps more on the assassinaing side of things?

I persume its just to avoid the really annoying drunks/mentally disturbedpeople in the game that push you randomly which sometimes lands you in the water!!!damn them!!:pac:
