    Ok,
    Thought it might be fun to try and find the most expensive laptop currently for sale.

    I found this on laptopsdirect but for the life of me cannot see why anyone would pay 3155 for this????:confused:Rock Xtreme

    That's overpriced, but the kind of people buying those laptops are professionals looking for mobile workstations etc. 99% of users arent going to need something like that, but for example there was a video-editor looking for something similar recently. More processing power = getting the job done quicker, which can pay for the laptop in no time.

    If you want something crazy expensive, look at the stuff on Kobalt Computers. You can get 'laptops' with desktop CPUs, 3 hard-drives, SLI graphics cards etc. Madness, but in a good way I guess :pac:

    No mention of Apple. You can buy a PC equivilant for about 1/3rd the price. :pac:

    There is a laptop either on the market or soon to be on the market with a 1TB SSD. That drive alone is probably worth more than most peoples laptops.

    The top spec Alienware M17 is round €3,800 at the moment. My current m9750 cost ~€3.5k and my previous m9700 was much the same.
    The most expensive lappie that i've seen was a new top spec mALX 19" lcd notebook which cost €6k.
